Technology

Karvy Global operates from its global delivery centers in Hyderabad, India. With over 50,000 square feet of build infrastructure, we have used technology to enable our business and deliver services with cutting edge technology. Karvy Global has established a dedicated technology data center at Hyderabad with built-in all purpose redundancies to support the global delivery center in Hyderabad.

The various aspects with regards to technology are described below:

Hardware

Karvy Global has invested in state-of-the-art infrastructure for its data and server farms and has tied up with leading technology companies for supply of enterprise class server hardware and high end workstations for work desks. We have engaged our technology partners to provide for continuous systems integration and support for the facilities at each of our centers.

The server infrastructure supports hybrid platforms and can be configured and scaled to match client requirements. The hardware facilities at KARVY Global have been designed for high availability and scalability to handle large transaction volumes. The work desks are equipped with the finest workstations for enhanced system performance at operational levels. Our technology partners on the hardware front include IBM.

Software & Applications

Karvy Global is partnered by the best technology service providers in the world for their enterprise software. All software and applications are licensed and used by authenticated users and conforms to all data and information systems security and management norms. The database systems employed are robust and reliable to ensure integrity and secure data storage, management and retrieval.

The applications that facilitate process automation of critical business processes (both internal and client specified) are deployed to offer both customization and flexibility for rapid alignment for efficient and effective service delivery.

Network

Karvy Global’ primary mode of connectivity with the US is through the MPLS Network. The MPLS network provides for connectivity with client sites in the US from the closest Point of Presence (POP). MPLS provides for multiple options with regards to the class of services, scalability of bandwidth, Points of Presence (POPs) and redundant network routes through its mesh topology network. MPLS offers itself as the optimal option for connectivity on account of its pricing and flexibility in terms of scalability and redundancy.

The local area networks are deployed using Cat6 cables for data and Cat5 cables for voice with the facility to create segregated virtual user and corporate LANs. Logical access restrictions are in place for authenticated access to critical data and information resources. Customer networks are segregated by physical / virtual LANs.

KARVY has structured service level agreements with third party network service providers to ensure highest up-time levels and uses the world’s best networking, switching and terminating equipment for its facilities.
