The discussion cannot be complete without the mention of Apple - the company that merged the mobile and computing worlds into one, while others were just talking of an aspirational idea of true convergence.

Time for google to crack some new algorithm that can turn modern computing on its head again. If one remembers, that was where the company had its original strength in. Just lost its way down the line and gave in to the changing landscape of technology.

BTW, am surprised the Google Wave platform never took off the way it should have.

Great reading. Eco-friendly tips that seem unifying and providing a mission in life! Changes the way we think, and do. Good for our attitudes and brain!

But wait, if we fast-forward this "environment plan" going disguised like global warming, carbon credits, and cap-and-trade to say ten years down to 2020, are we heading for another bubble, engineered by the great bubble-machine...you never know until it hits!

Its time to go green, green and green,
realize to make our future a right scene.

People and organizations hit the purple patch,
forgetting the much needed green patch.

Carbon footprints darken the landscape,
leaving no room in the future for escape.

As constructions happen at a hurried pace,
cities lose out on their lung space.

Let us resolve to do the “little do littles” to heal the world,
make it a better place, for you and for me and the entire universe.

As the World Environment Day raises awareness on the importance of the outdoor environment for health and well-being, equally important is indoor environment. Indoor air quality is heralded as the key element in ensuring a healthy environment. Of course, of vital importance is the construction quality and maintenance of buildings to achieve the desired air quality.
Most of us spend the majority of our time indoors—whether at home or work—and, are therefore, entitled to the comfort of quality ventilation systems. Office workers’ health and productivity directly correlate to IAQ. And, yes, it makes good business sense. Superior IAQ improves productivity, prevents unnecessary absenteeism, resulting in economic gains for the employer and comfortable working conditions for the employee.
Although we are a long way off from the “green building” concept, I applaud your efforts, however small, in promoting environmental awareness.

How about walking or biking to work at least once a week? It has the double benefit of reducing our carbon footprint, but may also reduce waistlines.
